First of all, let me say that PSU got what they deserved. The coverup at such highlevels and the severity of the crime could not go unpunished. The NCAA needs to hold the course now if they are intent on "maintaining academic and athletic integrity" as they maintain that they are. The situations at UNC and MIAMI are blatant examples of institutions of fraud, cheating, corruption, and coverups to the highest level. They may not be felonies such as what PSU is guilty of, but nonetheless flagrant violations of NCAA bylaws. Both of these schools should receive extensive penalties such as PSU. Miami should be given the death penalty if Golden did in fact maintain a relationship with the person who was involved with the prior instances. How many second chances do you get? Shalala is a complete joke of an administrator and should have been fired. UNC should be a no brainer. Academic fraud, lying to (failure to cooperate with) the NCAA investigation, and covering up the facts. These are supposed core values that the NCAA polices. Swofford should be made to step down for his actions regading the UNC investigation. Every day the Observer produces more dirt, his integrity (on a national level) dips farther down in perception. Point is, you've started the ball rolling, finish the job!!
