Not only that, but DW4 and the team got better as the season went on, while Lamar and Louisville cooled off. Same old nonsense. The voters only considered the first few games and didn't bother to take into account the last few games, especially our Natty over 'Bammer.

DW4 didn’t hurdle a 5’2” opposing player early in the season to put himself in the running for the Heisman. And yes. The trophy is best used as a doorstop.

Don't know if anyone else has done that since. That and the 2016 season should have gotten him a Heisman.

LMAO, I haven't watched the fake heisman circle jerk show since CJ Spiller was snubbed. It was that year that I learned they really wasn't looking to award the all around John Heisman type player. They were going to award whoever the media Darling was at that time, and that most voters never watched a single game that CJ Spiller played exactly like a Heisman type player should play....

At least they now let the conference championships play out... I think. Although, I suspect votes were due before last Saturday’s conference championship. And that is absurd/ridiculous/dumb beyond measure. They might restore some relevance if they waited until after the national championship. The Heisman has a storied history. But proclaiming “the best college football player in America” before the most important games of the year are played does nothing to make me think they deserve relevancy.
