Next yr the offense takes a huge leap forward.....

Sep 21, 2014, 7:53 PM

But afraid the D takes a huge step back. Will we ever put it all together?

I think the D will be fine

Sep 21, 2014, 7:55 PM

We will have some experienced players coming into the starting line up, unlike this year on offense where we have true freshmen. The drop off won't be that substantial.

Agreed.

Our young depth on the front seven will serve us well and we just keep bringing them in.

I will miss Grady and company but have full faith in their replacements and their position coaches are studs as well. :)

the defense will take a step back, just like the offense has

Sep 21, 2014, 8:10 PM [ in reply to I think the D will be fine ]

this year.

We can be a good team but it will be different, just like this year is different from last.

There is no way we lose 6 DL, Anthony, Steward, Smith, Peters, and Jenkins and don't miss a beat. If nothing else, that is a huge depth lose but its not just that it is losing stars like Beasley, Anthony, Jarrett.

Lets be honest with ourselves.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yeah, don't see how they couldn't. Right now, we've got some

Sep 21, 2014, 8:18 PM

real studs across that line. I think it will take some time and recruiting and GETTING guys like Settle and Huggins to continue what we've got.

Losing out on on these guys making plays for other teams like the Montravius Adams, Eddie Goldmans, Gabe Wrights, Elijah Daniels, Carl Lawsons of the world isn't going to cut it...SEAL THE DEAL VENABLES!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

def not a rebuilding scenario but a reloading.***

If you really look at it, most of our issues on D have been at safety and DE.

I think we're in really good shape if Pagano, Reader and Watson ball out next year.

Not really wanting to talk about next year 3 games in***

Beasley, Anthony & Jarrett are huge losses along with Crawford

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Granted

Sep 21, 2014, 9:00 PM

but we are replacing them with experienced players instead of true freshmen.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Its already put together...

Sep 21, 2014, 9:16 PM

We just completely blew two games.

Complete incompetence.

Only thing I see is the retarded zero returns on special teams and out kicker is awful. Rb's don't impress and receivers are not getting any seperation but we should be 3-0.

Our D is world class and with Deshaun thay can roll vs any team in the country.

I just can't believe some ###### wants to go into shotgun formation on the one inch line. THAT IS RETARDED.
