It's all up to QB play...that simple. We've been wasting top 5-10 defenses with poor offense. This year we still got a defense, O-Line should better, power running game, better WRs (if healthy). No excuse from Cade, if he struggles early...I'd rather see Pearman in there.

It’s part Cade, but even bigger is the OC and game planning. If he’s hanging back in the pocket for 4+ seconds on 3rd and 6, waiting for WRs to finish their routes 20-25 yards downfield like we’ve been seeing, he’s gonna keep looking like a rookie. And it won’t be all his fault.

In the bowl game he had Stool wide open on a seam within 2 secs and still held the ball to long, by the time he threw it the DB was back there waiting on the pick. He needs to stop being so indecisive and get the ball out when a man is open and/or even throw the man open. He just has to know

We were close to winning all those games if not for the turnovers. Cade wasn’t ready enough to overcome those turnovers, but once we did we win the rest of our games and was one of only 5 teams to go undefeated in November.
Stop the turnovers and we can win them all. If Cade improves in the system we will be an elite, national threat.

Shipley had quite a few lost fumbles last year as well. Mafah had maybe 2 that I can think of. It was also the fact that when we fumbled, it was either on the goal line, or a scoop and score by the defense.

None of those have to really be elite but simply solid. Eliminate the turnovers and fg issues last year and we were in the cusp of the playoffs. Would have been in the previous year beating the coots. That said, I think all of those groups are better this year and we’ll just have to wait until talkin season is over.

Here we go again. We heard this same thing last year and stunk the place up in the opening game vs Duke. Let's just stop with all the preseason blabbering. The sole focus should be the opening game against UGA. Stop with all the talking and let the play on the field speak for itself.

Playcalling in hindsight has always been funny. The plays are fine, just need the QB to run them correctly.

… when you take3 seconds or more to throw the ball, you give the defense an advantage. Get the ball to the receivers quickly and I think we’ll have much more success.
That was one of the differences in the spring game… Pearman had success when he took the snap knowing where he was going with the ball and executing it quickly. In watching Trevor’s plays in the video, it seems he had the ball heading to the receivers in about 2 seconds.
Cade seems to wait too long to deliver and gets caught with the ball and then has to improvise, which is a risk.
You know the play, just read it and execute … yes, I know there’s a lot going on, but don’t make it more complicated than it needs to be.

I agree. As long as Dabo lets his coordinators run the offense and defense we will be fine. The only thing that has held us back is ourselves. I just wish we had hired a legit receivers coach and a few more proven position coaches. We have the talent. Can’t wait to spot the ball and see how we match up. I wouldn’t be shocked if we beat UGA even though it’s a home game for them called neutral. That’s like Clemson playing in Greenville calling it neutral. Ok! Lol

In years past, we had the make up of a team that could easily create optimism.
It's irrefutable that we are on a slide offensively. It isn't limited to one year which exacerbates matters.
It only sounds harsh that some fans are not giving this team the benefit of the doubt. The criticism is understandable
They haven't earned it.
Dabo starts the season every season with his list of " goals for the season ".
I suggest Dabo add to his list " remove all doubt ".
