Ohio State might have a chance as a one loss team, Michigan has zero chance. They have not played anyone other than OSU and PSU . Let’s not forget that they are also tainted because of the cheating.

But, the guys on ESPN have it right.
Why is Michigan ranked ahead of Washington or FSU? There schedule has been pathetic and the last two weeks they have not passed "the eye test."
If the committee were looking at record + resume + eye test, the top 4 should be
UGA

Michigan’s schedule has been soft, but they came into the season highly ranked and for the most part have been dominant.
Washington has won out on a pretty respectable slate.
FSU’s win over LSU was big, but barely squeaked out a win against us and looked awful against BC. Pitt seemed like they were doing everything in their power to lose and the Miami game was not impressive.
I’d give the eye test to Michigan, but not by a wide margin.
Sorry, about Travis going down. That’s brutal. I generally root against FSU, but will be pulling for them this week.

But they aren't. When have you looked at the 5th place team and thought they would have won a game in the playoff? In most years the games have proved that 4 teams aren't really needed.
