I think a business should be able to sell the products it wants in a free market and parents can make the choice whether to buy it, and you should also keep your nose out of other people's purchasing business.
I remember several years ago when the gay community was a bit up in arms over the Chick Fil-A owner's stance on traditional marriage. There was talk of a boycott. I didn't undertand it - you give Chick Fil-A 5-bucks for a sandwich, they don't care what you do with the sandwich and you shouldn't care what they do with the money. Here we are in 2023 with ladies' swimwear with a "tuck" pocket and clothing for children promoting a sexual lifestyle. Maybe boycotts are the answer.
Did Chic-fil-A feel any real sting from the alleged "boycott"?
I doubt it. I mean, I certainly didn't stop going, and I'd be willing to bet not one soul on the Politics board did either.
It's almost like a wholesome, square, Christian-oriented business that overwhelmingly operates in affluent suburb areas and is closed on Sundays despite the fact that it literally costs them 1/7 of their profits maybe isn't pandering to the same demographic represented by the gay community.
How business works. Contrariwise, it's also exactly why Bud Light cratered so bad with their transgender support. Who on Earth did not realize that their commercial wasn't going to sell so much as a single can of beer to transgender people - who wouldn't touch Bud Light with a stick - whereas Budweiser's blue-collar, working-class customer base was going to like that commercial about as much as baseball fans liked getting Rick Rolled in the seventh inning stretch?
quozzel Not to be pedantic, but there was no commercial. Bud Light sent some free beer to an "influencer" (certainly not the only one) who then promoted some Bud $15,000 sweepstakes on her TikTok page. Full stop.
From all the outrage, one would have thought that she was in commercials or on their beer cans (not that there would have been anything wrong with that). This was such nonsensical, manufactured outrage. This is part of why it's so stupid. The right-wingers were playing telephone and made this something that it was not.
And glad you learned to not care what clothing other people buy their kids. The first step to happiness is letting people live their lives when it doesn't affect you.
First, show me any post of mine triggered over bud light.

Next, you said things to the effect of: “keeping your nose out other’s purchases, letting people live the way they want, letting a business sell what or chooses, etc.”
Yet you voted for ESG; the ultimate nose in everyone’s business and their pursuit of happiness.
### am I talking about? You being a hypocrite. That’s what.
Like I did the last two elections. Especially since I live in SC, that won't change anything. Third parties need to start getting more votes in this nation.
Clowns think they can only vote for one of two people in an election, and even bigger clowns think someone voted for the "other guy" if they don't like their choice.
