I’m still All In
I won’t be a prisoner of the moment.
I was in those stands for the Tommy West years. Embarrassing, on the field and OFF.
Today sucked. We are clearly on the wrong trajectory, not just this game or this season, but a couple years. And in those couple years, some way, some how, we still found ourselves taking home hardware.
As Clemson fans, we had a ten year run that’s almost unfathomable for most programs. How lucky are we? We are so lucky to have Dabo Swinney leading this program. This record blows, this was supposed to be the year it came together again.. it didn’t.
We have 8 games to go. Let’s see what happens.
I’m all about venting the disappointment, calling out what’s not working, and expecting better from a well paid coaching staff and players, but I can’t find the value in heckling our players, giving up, or cheering for failure.
Today, tomorrow, in 2 Saturdays from now, my blood still runs orange and I’ll still be yelling, Go Tigers!

Nobody is denying how special 2015–2019 was, and nobody is rooting against our players. But since 2020, Clemson is 13–10 vs ranked teams, and years of roster mismanagement and poor coaching hires are showing up every Saturday.
A decade of success doesn’t give anyone a free pass to pretend the current trajectory is fine. Pointing that out isn’t “heckling players” it’s asking whether this staff is doing its job. Still thumbs up because I know how you feel, this sucks!

Yelling at them. That’s in the game. That’s heckling our players.
As far as roster management.. let’s be real. We all sit here and talk about how we’re gonna get left behind bc of the $$ the SEC and BIG have to invest compared to Clemson. How many times a day is there a post about leaving the conference. So when the disparity shows up, the solution is to want to fire our coach?
There’s a lot wrong. There’s a lot that can be done differently within what we have available. But it makes no sense to complain about the conference and the disparity and then be shocked when it starts to show on the field.

I don’t think it’s roster mismanagement honestly… and let me preface this next statement with nobody in their right mind wants Dabo gone that’s the minority that is still drunk or 3/4 stupid … BUT this has more to do with the really bad hires Dabo has made and it’s been showing for a few years now and now it’s too late.. offense needs a total rebuild and will take another year or two like how TB10 got us going but never quiet got over the hump… it’s time to realize this ain’t getting fixed in an off season this is going to be another 3-4 year climb back with the right hires and right qb

If the QB plays like the 5-star #2 QB he was supposed to be, then we’re 4-0. It’s as simple as that.

Before that he needs to fire grisham, CJ, his kids, friends, Tahj Boyd, nolan tuner etc. No more hiring former players who are all never was's not even has beens

All alumnus support Clemson, no matter what!! But coaches have a shelf life there’s no way around it. We had a great run, but it’s time for somebody new to come in and adapt to the modern landscape.

Everyone is still here. No one stopped being a Clemson fan. Years ago, people decided not to be a prisoner at the moment.
It’s not being a prisoner of THIS moment. This is a 4 to 5 year issue. Sadly, today was not shocking.
Everyone, and I mean, everyone, has known about this and has seen it coming. Some have refused to acknowledge …and that’s OK. But it is much bigger than this moment . If this was a one-off or an occasional upset …people get that. That happens in CFB. But this issue is a much deeper issue than just a one off. Most if not all that could’ve been completely avoided. All of it self-inflicted.

The issue is the 5-star QB who is playing like a 2-3 star.
If he plays like the 5-star #2 QB he was expected to be, then nothing else even comes into play.
Missed a plethora of game changing plays again today. It’s become the norm, and it’s exactly why we are 1-3 instead of 4-0.
QB has been the issue since that #3 finish on 2020.
