H to the No No No! Why blow off a 100 year tradition. Besides we need a cupcake before the ACCCG and the CFP and SC fits the bill most years.
Notre Dame replacing our Group of 5 opponent slot like the Akrons and App State I would be on board with.

No way. I just hope conference realignment and lack of financial parity does not end it. It is the undisputed biggest athletic event in SC.

It would not be our decision. Notre Dame would decide. When Swofford made the ACC Notre Dame’s bit@h he let them join our conference EXCEPT football, but when COVIL struck we bailed them out in football and even gave them an opportunity to be ACC Champions. Further, Notre Dame’s AD has the same weight as each power five conference commissioner. Please explain.

Losing those 2 in last 3 years At DV is alarming since shows they are up & coming even though each loss was only by 3 points and we couldn’t even attempt to come from behind due to a fumble in last 2 minutes and an INT in last 20 secs.

Despite the record it remains the one "must win" game of the year for both. Hence, why I would never support its elimination.

No! If they want a play us more than join the ACC! in football. Do they get any money from the ACC? Work out a deal that they still get NBC contract for home games but it gets adding to the pot somewhat and ACC get the pot for the away games. New ESPN/NBC/FOX deal for ACC!

To the OP, I'd say let UofSC go their own way in their role as the lowly SEC program all the other superior SEC programs feed off of when they're not playing each other.

From my understanding it may not be our choice. If the SEC goes to a 9 game conference schedule then the Gamecocks are looking at 6 home games when they travel to DV. Atleast that’s how I understand the situation. That won’t cut it for lost revenue. They will work to end the rivalry game.
