No way Jackson should win the Heisman

Nov 26, 2016, 5:08 PM

After this epic meltdown to end the season.

agree .. stats aside

Nov 26, 2016, 5:08 PM

at some point the fact that his team lost 3 games has to be taken into account

I'm not necessarily arguing but

Nov 26, 2016, 5:11 PM

Who would you put above him in the heisman race?

I remember in the old days...

a player's entire career will be considered. That's why we only saw upperclassmen as contenders. Nowadays, not so much. It's all about who gets the most hypes. Some voters don't even watch football.

If Lamar Jackson wins it, he'll be the worst Heisman winner.

L Jackson more deserving than many winners

Nov 26, 2016, 5:55 PM

My thought is that is should be the best player during a single season regardless of team record. According to my perspective, L Jackson more deserving than:

Torretta (team award)
Weinke (team award)
Jason White (team award)
Troy Smith (team award)
Mark Ingram (team award)
Ron Dayne (career award)

Many others:

stats the year he won, and Notre Dame's record was something like 3-6.

Agree - and additional BIG reason....

Nov 26, 2016, 5:48 PM

heisman been in the hands of a lot of 'no so good' character dudes recently - they could use a winner that gets in the news for good stuff for a change.
