Our Tigers got caught flat footed and now we are stuck in the broke ACC!

It’s all posturing so no one believes the SEC or B10 is done. Neff won’t go to the trouble of getting out of the ACC without a landing spot. Hopefully it won’t be the SEC

I agree. I want the ACC to come around, but I do not want to be in the SEC

As a fan, I don't really want to go to the SEC and that is mostly due to unbearable SEC fans.
From a program perspective, the SEC would likely be the best landing spot. It would bring more revenue in to CU and it would make the most sense geographically. Imagine having to fly to Minnesota this weekend, then Iowa, then Wisconsin. I'd rather be in a conference that has you going to FL,GA,AL,etc.

I disagree. How's that working out for Texas and Notre Dame?

If money is the solution, how come it has not made a difference for all those teams that make so much more than we have for years? If we do not protect our culture we will end up just like them...a pile of money to spend and still no trophies with a fan base that is more interested in socializing in the comfort of luxury suites than watching the game and cheering for the team.

Money isn't the solution to everything. But when the problem is "We need more money", then money is the solution. Clemson and FSU's problem with the ACC right now is they don't pay enough. The SEC does pay enough.
Program culture is a reflection of the program, not the conference. There's no reason to fear culture change just because the conference changes. We may attract different talent, but we still have the same coaching staff to vet that talent.

The SEC knows Disney isn't forking over any additional money anytime soon. Why would they look to expand?
If and when they do, and Clemson is still a top program, Clemson will have a seat in the SEC. I believe the SEC is more about national branding than new markets.
An outlier to me would be the B1G. They do want to be a national league and a foray into the south with them scooping up 4-6 teams would make them just that. Clemson and FSU make the most sense, but I see value with adding UNC and Virginia as well.
Conversely, these latest TV contracts may be the most any leagues will see. Will the popularity of college football continue to expand, or will the NIL and Portal rules change that, and we see a decline in viewership?
What happens when players are out right employees and the college model ceases to exist and it's NFL light? Players unionize, collective bargaining and outright free agency (pretty much have that now). Dos the typical fan stick around?

By making the playoffs and winning. The last two years really hurt the realignment marketing position.
