considered the "big fish in a small pond" factor? If we can maintain our trajectory, we will DOMINATE this league for years to come. Going 10-2 and a Chic-fil-a Bowl berth every year is a success by any definition. Every now and then we might win the conference and go to the BCS (assuming the ACC maintains its BCS tie-in). This angle deserves serious consideration.

evolution. There's no reason why Clemson can't be home to the most dominant football team in the world. If it is being in the ACC that keeps us from being ranked above other teams with our same win-loss record, then we must be in a big-boy football conference such as the Big 12 taking the steers by the horns.
