Yeah, not being ranked, being 4-4, last in red zone looks waaaay better than 5th in the country, 8-0, And top 5 in red zone. I can see why you would think Riley is better.

In your opinion, why do you think Streeter was let go? His offense was very effective in the red zone. Wish I could say the same about our current offense that’s getting to the red zone more but converting far less than Streeter offense did.

You have to place it at the feet of Riley. He is in charge of the offense. In 2021 we had a less talented offense but Elliott and Streeter managed the offense and we won 10 games. We looked bland and vanilla but they took care of the ball and managed just enough points to win many games. Riley and his air raid is very overrated and he has not managed what he had very good. I do believe Streeter with Dabos help would have managed this offense much better and we would have at least 2 or 3 more wins.

managing games and not making major mistakes - we’d have a couple more wins.
The D has played well enough to win games on their own - but they’ve had to battle both teams offense.

If Riley had a better staff around him as in position coaches, he would be more effective. I think Dabo will be replacing some of them during the off season. If I was Grisham or Austin, I would start making plans on where I am going to go after this season.

Something has seemed off about the Riley hire from the get go. From the beginning there was no excitement shown by him or Dabo. In the past when their was a splashy hire there was a lot of buzz and excitement, but not with Riley.
