Even the refs are starting to feel bad for FSU

I think it's because as part of completing the interception, his left foot and leg were out of bounds as he came down.

Looked to me like his right knee was down long before anything else hit

His left foot was called out of bounds before he ever caught the ball.

I'll take your word for it. Not what I saw

You saw nothing on review that said it WASN'T OOB

That's the point. It was called OOB at the time, and no replay (that we saw) showed otherwise.

The first angle looked pretty obvious to me

No good view was from his left

Showing space between his foot and the line.

Besides, at this point, we did get to see them not even get a pass off on 4th and 24. That was fun :)

Lol true.

Because his left foot was near the line

It was called (on the field) as being out of bounds, and there was no replay angle that could overturn it.

The question is why would anyone stick their left foot out towards the out of bounds line instead of moving straight toward the ball...junior high football.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Huh? He was planting to jump for the ball.

It might (or might not) have been on the line, but he was playing exactly as he should have on third and LOOOOOOOOONG. Play outside position, and move for the ball when it gets close.
