Thing is, I felt the effects on the first try too. Alert, energetic, and definitely different compared to caffeine. But not so great that I was like, "Oooooh this will be my new morning ritual." Not even close.
Since I drink tea instead of coffee I think I might be more sensitive to "plant medicine" than those who pound the bean juice.
