Great...however quoting the Bleacher Report and listing this as a sound and objective media outlet is like saying you can trust Obama not to raise taxes!

“We want to go up to Clemson and do for their defense what they’ve got going on offense right now,” Nkemdiche said.

I wouldn't take that to the bank. The kid may just be trying to deflect some of the recruiting pressure until seasons end. My personal feeling has always been that as a teenager, he would probably want to cut the umbilical cord so-to-speak and go his own way. I still feel like he will end up at Clemson despite what his Mom is saying.
After reading the complete AJC interview, the Mom is obviously pressing for the convenience of not having to travel to multiple schools. As a parent myself I can understand that desire. Ultimately though, I would let my children make their own college choice. I would give my input but step back and let them choose. I get the sense after reading the interview that Roberts mom is doing just that. Of course I don't understand her reservations about at least coming to visit Clemson. I think a parent should be interested in colleges that their kids are interested in even if they don't completely see why their kids want to go there. I would certainly want to visit any school my child was serious about especially if they had committed to a sport.
I feel strongly that he will be a tiger in the end but either way, Clemson football will continue to excell with or without him.

"Nkemdiche said he’s “100 percent” committed to Clemson, but in the last few weeks cracks have begun to emerge in his decision."
That was a couple weeks ago that he said that.

"But don’t count out the Tigers or head coach Dabo Swinney".
Nov 1, 2012, 10:44 AM

Let's see . . . he commited to the Tigers and head coach Dabo Swinney last summer. As of two weeks ago, per RN himself, he was still 100% commited to the Tigers and head coach Dabo Swinney. He has not decommited. He has been to Clemson on several occasions. 3 of his team mates and best friends have commited to the Tigers and head coach Dabo Swinney, and are coming to Clemson with him; they all have said they want to play together in college.
So yeah, I guess you could say we still have very faint glimmer of hope, and probably shouldn't be counted out just yet. It's obvious though, that we are a small player, a wannabe of sorts, clearly out of our league here, and it's just a matter of time before the rightful owners of recruiting clout decide to put an end to this, step in and snip the thread by which we hang.
Isn't that pretty much the gist of all of these articles?

Committed IS 100 percent. Or it's not committed.
No need to put a percent in front of it.
Other examples:
new update born again Christian past history
People start putting redundancies and inflated numbers in b/c the word gets watered down and compromised.

Don't mean to be a downer, but these papers extract quotes from the past.
