It's hilarious how Dabo and Saban have been saying the exact same things for a decade and Dabo gets absolutely dragged over the coals for his take, and then Saban will say the exact same thing 4 days later and it's "oh wow, Coach Saban has a great point there." Give me a break.

I think it's Saban who coined the term "microwave team" for teams that heavily use the portal. I'm beginning to see what he meant.

supplementing 4-6 for positional weaknesses and/or defections from the portal is the only proper use of the portal.

for some it might be playing time
for some it might be money
for some they might be in the dog house with the coaches
For ANY - I can't see Dabo promising to fix what's ailing them. All he could do would be offer an opportunity, and for a lot of portal players...that isn't enough.
