Really nice move by St. John's to commemorate our first game with a plaque and welcome the Tigers to college softball.
It was also nice of them to take the L so we could get off to a good start.

Really classy of them and their coach.
Gotta say, though, it reminds me of the football game I listened to a few years back when The Citadel went into Columbia and beat the Fighting Chickens.
There was a point in that game when The Cycler complained that it was bad enough for The Citadel to come into Willy B and beat them, but to also collect a check for it was unreasonable. (He was kidding. Gamecock humor.) Tommy Suggs responded that he was tired of paying The Citadel to come to Columbia and win; he would just as soon start paying El Cid to stay home.
Wonder if that's how the Red Storm (?) girls felt today.
