Next year - the 6 conference champs auto qualify for playoff

The 6 ‘best’ non-conference champs complete the 12 team playoff format.

The 4 highest ranked conference champs get a bye. Seeds 5-12 will play in the first round of the playoffs.

The ACC champ will more likely than not, be the 5 or 6 seed ALWAYS. And More likely than not, because of the national perception of the ACC, a 1 or 2 loss non-ACC champ Clemson will get jumped by a 1-2 loss Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, UGA, BAMA, Michigan, OSU, USC, Oregon, Washington simply because we are in the ACC.

Clemson needs to get out NOW

6 conference champs and 2 best at large teams. Everything else they want to do next year is just pure greed and for undeserving teams.

It will be change to 5 conf champs since the PAC 12 is gone.

The champs don’t get the top 6 (or 5) seeds. Only the top 4 seeds are guaranteed to conf champs.
