Monthly I get a big fat envelope of boilerplate trying to get me to put an extended warranty on a car I sold 2 years ago.

Do I save them a little money by letting them know I don’t own that car anymore or should I keep recycling it?

It does give me a reason to walk to the mailbox every now and then - for example as of today it’s the only piece of mail that has arrived whilst I’m camping. I might be all I get until I get another postcard about the Clemson oral history project

on a car I've had for 24 years (potential engine car fire). I've gotten this notice for at least 20 of these 24 years. Been sitting in my barn shed for a few years needing work on several things (it's one of my many future retirement projects to restore it). I don't even carry insurance/license tag on it any more, intend to again one day when I get it back in running shape.

But they don't give up on that recall notice.
