His buy out is too high cause schools are giving too long of a contract to coaches like him.

In theory next year he’s on the hot seat. If he doesn’t then there will be discussions if we can pay his buyout.

That is unless some super donor wants him gone this offseason and ponies up 60 mill.

He won’t ever get fired. We have to hope he resigns and goes on to coach somewhere else.

No realistic candidates are ever mentioned. Nor is there any sense much patience would be given to a possible next coach up. Thus a Frank Solich and Nebraska lesson from history is warranted, before we switch coaches every handful of years and risk falling into irrelevancy.

We got out of signing over our TV rights until 36 to John Swofford. Not sure how we are getting out of this one.
