News on Feaster...

Sep 22, 2015, 11:31 AM

I went to my wife's 20 year reunion at Spartanburg Highschool over the weekend. I was speaking to Kevin Coleman who played linebacker in the mid 90's when I was in school. He is now the linebacker coach. I asked him if Feaster was the best he had ever seen and he said that hands down he is the best. I said so he is better than Stephen Davis and he didn't hesitate to say yes. He said his speed and hands are unmatched.

We were on a school tour and I noticed in the weight room that Feaster was #1 in 40 time and #1 in broad jump. 40 time was 4.27.

Sure hope we can hold on to him!

That's some serious inside info there. Thanks for sharing. I love watching Feasters highlights. A talent sure nuff. Gonna look good in that orange.

He steps into the two deep the minute he's on campus

And as much as I love Gallman's toughness he's the James Davis to Feaster's CJ Spiller. Gallman will get us the tough 5-6 yards a pop but Feaster will take it to the house more times. Some of the holes that Gallman runs through and gets 10-15 yards will be house calls with Feaster in.

Most that went to Spartan high disagree with that. However, a coach's viewpoint does carry some weight. The fact that feaster is even in the conversation with Davis bodes well for Clemson.

I was surprised at that too because Davis was a beast.

They are very different. Davis was a bruising back that played in a time when running was king. Feaster is a smaller back that runs well and catches passes well out of the backfield, in a time when spread and passing is big. Both very talented and different!
