The fun is just beginning for 4-star quarterback Dakereon Joyner. The North Charleston (SC) Fort Dorchester 2018 standout is having the kind of season most quarterbacks can only dream of, and he’s drawing interest from schools around the country. Life couldn’t’ be better.

In my opinion, this kid is a special talent and we need to step up our recruitment of this kid. USuCk is going after him hard, and if we don't, they will land him, and we will really regret that. I would rather land him than TL, but that's just me. His film is ridiculous and he's only getting better. By the time he's a senior and goes through all the off season camps, I think he'll be a top 50 player.

It's all up to Dakereon at this point though , isn't it ? 99% sure we want him as an athlete/WR type and as I understand it the Coots are pitching him early playing time as their QB of the future .
We have former Patriot teammate John Simpson with us though ...and they are tight .
I never count out Dabo Swinney in the recruiting game , dude is boss .

TL is burning it up in Georgia. In second round of playoffs, his team scored 77 points. Last night it was 35-3.

He wants to be recruited as a qb, as he should be. He is a dynamic, DW4 type talent. I have no clue why clemson isn't recruiting him as a qb only. I'm sure dabo has a reason, he obviously knows more than I do. But just looking at film, as someone who's not a coach or scout, in my opinion he's a program changing qb. If he goes to the coots, he will be a major thorn in our side for 3 years. Heck, he might even take them to the outback bowl, which would be a major accomplishment for USuCk.

Hard to find that among college coaches these days. We want him and told him his first shot will be at QB but if things don't work out then he should be open to another position. I think he'll be a tiger when it's all said and done

How about because the coaches don't want to lie to him! We already have Chase Brice and Hunter Johnson coming in this year and there is no guarantee he will win the starting QB job. That's not even counting Cooper. Plus, what happens when we land Trevor Lawrence?

Surprised to read "insists Clemson sits atop his list" after plugging the hard press coming from the Coots. I hope we can land him - the kid looks like an absolute rock star. Runs like Lamar, but makes better decisions and throws better

Hope he sees how they promised mackawayne the moon then threw him off the bus as soon as he lost a game. Recruits need to understand muscoot is just like the other coaches... not going to shoot u straight.

It is up to Joyner mostly, just as it is up to Bryant next year. We could see Bryant move and have another current QB transfer, which would open up our numbers to take both TL and DW II as QBs. I believe even if we get TL that Joyner would still have 2 years to be the man at Clemson on a minimum.

Clemson needs to quit messing around. This young man is a winner. Offer him as a QB. Don't want this to come back and haunt us if he goes to that other school.
