we'll be just fine! I know that's a big "IF", but something tells me our D is up for the challenge.
GO TIGERS!!! Leave nothing but red feathers on the field!

TAM held them to like 27 in the bowl game last year. Our D is better, we'll probably hold them under 30

I hope we don't get out to a lead & hit the cruise button in the 2nd half like last week. I think this crowd is too good to let up on.

All over it! That is Dabos only weakness, IMO, or at least the biggest weakness. He can't bare to keep the throttle down, and it has cost us (AU when we played down there several years ago, and it almost cost us vs ND in Clemson last year. keep the foot on the gas all game, and we whip that butt.

Man, I hope ya'll are right on these predictions. I am all for our Tigers, and believe in our coaches & team. They will have a good plan.
I don't know, however, after watching Louisville play to this point how one thinks going in to this game that Louisville has no advantage when on offense. I am baffled. Prove me wrong Tigers!!

Here we go Tiger Fans! We are just a little over 24 hours from kickoff of the biggest game to be played this season. Like many of you I am excited, anxious, proud, and brewing with anticipation for this matchup in the Valley. All week we have heard why Clemson will win and why they will lose this game. I have been told that Lamar "Action" Jackson is going to have his way with the Tigers, because of what he has accomplished so far in his record setting September. But as the calendar flips to October I think Lamar Jackson's story is about to flip as well. Lamar set the world on fire when he faced the Charlotte 49ers and scored 8 touchdowns in the first half! Wow that is impressive. Next he faced Syracuse and mesmerized the nation with lots of TDs and the "Lamar Leap". Then the biggie... FSU at Louisville. 63-20 later, Lamar Jackson had already won the Heisman. And most recently "Action" Jackson dazzled us with another impressive performance while beating Marshall. Ok... now that's out of the way, lets really look into what all this means. First and foremost Charlotte, Syracuse, and Marshall will have defenses ranked over 100 in the nation (128 teams in the FBS) by seasons end... mark it down! Then there is the "elephant in the room" FSU. Louisville totally and utterly dismantled and embarrassed Jimbo and the boys from Tallahassee. Lamar ran over, around, and through the FSU defense for 146 yards and 4 TDs. But FSU was without Derwin James and Josh Sweat. If you are not familiar with those players, imagine Clemson without Christian Wilkins and Cordrea Tankersley tomorrow night. Also FSU was starting a true freshman quarterback on the road in a top 10 matchup. Now to why I think the story changes on October 1st in Clemson, SC. These Tigers have been reticuled all season for not playing up to the expectations that the nation had for them. You know if you poke a tiger that eventually that tiger is going to attack. That moment is tomorrow night and this is why. Lamar Jackson has not played in an atmosphere like he will play in tomorrow night. The Cardinals have not faced a Defense, especially a defensive line like they will face tomorrow night. And lastly, this Cardinals team have not faced a QB with a fraction of the talent that Deshaun Watson possesses. Just 9 months ago Deshaun and this offense amassed over 500 yards against an Alabama defense in the National Championship! These Tigers are ready and tomorrow night Lamar Jackson and the Louisville Cardinals are going to experience real competition! Go Tigers!!! #ALL IN

To be correct, Clemson was ranked ahead of FSU before the game in '13. Recheck the AP and Coaches Polls.

I believe Clemson's defense shows Lamar Jackson what a Title-Contending Defense looks like, and limits his production to half, however their backs will try to make some plays against a top 5 rushing defense.
I also believe that this is not only Watson's time to shine and re-claim his status as the nation's #1 Quarterback and Gallman to finally arrive with a big rushing night along with some deep completions to Williams, Cain, Scott and even McCloud for touchdowns. Need to have a bigger rushing night, physical for 4 quarters, home field will help but Clemson is now clicking on all cylinders on offense showing us signs against GA Tech.
Fact: Louisville has 14 total turnovers in 2016 games- against much weaker opponents than Clemson. Not only does the defense have their biggest game yet on Sat. to make some defensive turnovers ( Bullware, Johnson, Tankersly )in the backfield and A title-Contending D- Line that can contain and pressure Jackson will be hungry to take care of business. This is definitely a game won in the trenches but in coverage also. Louisville's defense will be physical also up front, keeping Deshaun thinking, processing, throwing down filed when pressure get's tight. Watson and Co. will pull away with a lead late, and clinch. Clemson takes care of business Saturday night. 37- 31 Clemson

As crazy as this sounds, I can see Clemson getting up early. Maybe even taking a 2 TD lead going into the half. But the Cards COME STORMING back in the 2nd half and make it interesting. Tigers hold on late again... L'ville-35 Clemson-38
Break out game for Watson and Gallman Watson: 300 yds passing, 100 yds rushing Gallman: 120 yds rushing

Did you ever nail this, (other than the total yds for DW4 Nad Wayne Train) or what! It was an electric game, and it was an epic finish, IMO.
