Well we already know NC St can beat us. Oregon just won the PAC 12 including a win over Arizona (the 2-seed in our bracket).
People have been complaining about the accuracy of the NET all year. Can’t flip now.

Oregon NCST NM Duqu.
All of them are left out if they don’t win their conference title. The only at-large possibility was NM, and it likely doesn’t happen with NCST and Iregon winning

When you look at actual data and somehow dismiss it as an excuse, you might be a member of the LF.

No, that’s what you and Brownell Bros did all year arguing about our omission from the tourney last year now you’re trying to have it both ways. I’m calling out the blatant hypocrisy.

I agree with this… we could have been an 9 seed.

After our performance in the ACC tournament, I'm not sure what to think...

But I digress...
I do think the amount of separation between the 11 seeds are not nearly as much as we think it is.
NM is a 3 point favorite.
Vs Oregon or NC State, would be a toss up.
Vs Duquesne, we'd probably be 3 point favorite.
The games are so much closer at this level. Which is why I have a complaint about anyone saying we got "jobbed". Sounds like someone looking for the easiest path.

that hasn't played a single opponent from a Power 5 conference this season. Not one! Clemson should absolutely roll this team but NO ONE is confident that is going to happen because of...well...you know why.

I thought you promised you'd leave TNet "forever" if we lost....does this mean you're packing your bags already??

I can't believe I'm doing this, but what JK said is he'd leave forever if we lost to New Mexico State. He was playing on the fact that the OP in that thread stated the wrong team...we aren't playing NMSU.

I want nothing to do with those 2 Duquesne guards. Both 18 ppg scorers I believe. No thanks. We got a good draw

But now New Mexico is a harder draw than the ACC or PAC-12 champion? I know you’re a shill, but at least try and make sense.

people think. The Committee screwed us royally. When Brad blows them away, oh what a mighty mighty achievement that will be! It's not just your average 6 seed over an 11 seed, no sir! Those Lobos are World Beaters.

It did it's best work in Chapel Hill...even in Durham until the last couple of minutes...in Tuscaloosa, etc.
New Mexico deserves our full attention. And then whoever is next would also.
At some point, this team didn't fully prepare well for teams that it was favored against...specifically the games at Notre Dame and against BC in the tournament.
But maybe we just need the push...

Overall the committee set us up pretty solid.

Our more likely slot was that 7th or 8th we had trended towards, however for tournament purposes and slotting when it all fell out, and where New Mexico could fit best, it seems we got bumped up a slot or two to fill a gap. Tougher opening round, but more generous after that as a make-up.
TCB and it's all good.
Go Tigers.

There's a very good chance we're going to lose. I've looked at the metrics. I have looked at the matchups. We do not match up against a three guard offense very well. They don't shoot threes that well but they slash to the basket. They have in very good pressure defense. I would not be surprised we lost in the first round. And three of my four brackets I'm picking the New Mexico team
