I find Nebraska fans similar to Clemson fans. Notoriously faithful and protective of their team. Defensive when people throw shade at them and pretty manic at times.

Bo Pelini was a pretty darn good head coach. In his 7 full season s at Nebraska he never won fewer than 10 games and the fans ran him out of town. When that happen the program was laid to waste and has never returned to the level of consistency.

All I'm saying is because in what you wish for because you might get it.

The same thing that happened to Tennessee after those geniuses ran off Phil Fulmer. And we have a plethora of geniuses on Tnet.

Our administration is about as likely to run off Dabo as the coots are to go to the playoffs.

Suggestion: for those who want Dabo gone, contribute to NIL, as you'll sure need to contribute to his buyout.

When Dabo leaves, it will be because he's just plain tired of what the game has become, or because he's ready to retire like Saban

I don't know whether the rise of social media alerted kids that there just ain't a whole lot to do in Lincoln other than watch cows on a farm, but something changed that made them no longer a destination for the blue chippers they used to get. It could also have been the demise of the triple option, who knows. All I know is, Matt Rhule has his work cut out for him to ever return them to prominence, even for a short while.
