Here is one Irish fans thoughts on Clemson.

Just how good is Clemson? it beat up on two powder puff teams Wolford and Appalachian State big time. Clemson squeaked by Louisville with a three point win. so while Clemson is tagged as the “biggest” game so far for the Irish, maybe not so big. oh, don’t say this. the Irish might not get up enough for Clemson. yes, the Irish have learned that each and every team on our schedule is the National Championship and has to played with the aggressiveness and focus it deserves.
Don’t sell the Irish short. this Notre Dame team is strong, deep and talented, with good coaching. Clemson will present the loudest stadium and the most expensive tickets(217.00) so far. and Notre Dame is going to present a team that Clemson will wish it never invited to it’s Death Valley, well named for it will be Clemson’s death we will be talking about. Go Irish!

Thats not just ONE ND fan's view of Clemson. Frankly Scarlet (you know the rest). They may very well come in to the game and win. Hence, they also may very well limp their little ##### home with a loss. They looked like crap against uva, played OK against GT, and really beat up on a powderpuff UMASS. Ill be at the game this weekend and plan on seeing us whip their butts!!!!!

The best quote I saw was how much better Kelly is as a coach than Dabo. Their reasoning was that Kelly won at his previous stops (I think Cincinnati and maybe Central Michigan) and Dabo wouldn't be able to do that. I guess they are right. After all, it's not like Dabo was thrown into the fire at a major college football program as a head coach even though he was only a receivers coach. No wait.... never mind.

Those thoughts seem strangely similar to thoughts voiced by OSU before the Orange Bowl and Oklahoma before last year's bowl. You don't win on reputation, you win on the field.
