Ncst still ranked higher in the net

All these analytics make no sense. We beat them not once but three times. That’s the only metric you need to know.

If there’s a system that ranks a team over another team but that team beat them 3 times in one year is a clown show. Burn the entire thing to the ground.

Yes I still hate brownlee but this team has EARNED the right to play in the tournament.

Come at me bro.

Don't lose to Loyola Chicago and this isn't an issue.***

The system has some flaws... tournament games should count

way more than season games. Games toward the end of the season in March should be weighted heavier than a game played in December. Clemson lost to an inferior Pitt team (at home) in Football and were good enough to win the national championship against (what we were told) was the greatest team in football history in Bama in 2016. We had world series contending baseball teams that would always seem to lose to Furman or Winthrop. If you show you can win against contenders in big games you shoudl be given a bump for that achievement.

yes, a quality win in February/March should outweigh a ### loss in December. Just like a win on the road should outweigh a loss on the road.

NC State lost to the right teams.

Clemson beat the wrong teams.

What a total load of crap

Mar 10, 2023, 3:55 PM

If they really use that to determine the field, then it’s an absolute joke

Not saying we are going to make the final 4, but NCST sure aint

The NET isn’t the entire equation that’s the only way I would disagree with you.

Mar 10, 2023, 4:57 PM

It is numbers only and doesn’t necessarily take into account you beat a certain team, just the ranking or whatever the team. But yes if any human actually thinks that NC State should be ahead of us into the NCAAT then they should not be allowed to reproduce. Maybe there could be a variable for kicking a teams #### 3 times built into the net

Yes, much more to the evaluation process as clearly stated in the NCAA's website (keep scrolling down past the videos to see how it's done...at least supposed to be done<img border=">
