NC State record to date...

After looking at NC States record, I'm not as impressed as I was before with the Wolfpack. NC State has beaten a total of 6 teams, 3 of which have winning records:
Marshall (6-2)
Furman (6-3)
FSU (2-5)
Syracuse (4-4)
Louisville (5-4)
Pittsburgh (4-5)
NC State has beaten only 1 Power 5 team with a winning record (Louisville). NC State's best win may very well be Marshall (C-USA) as Louisville appears to be hot garbage this year. What is interesting is that NC State has lost to the only other two Power 5 teams they played with winning records (USuC (6-2), Notre Dame (7-1)). So NC State is 1-2 versus Power 5 teams with a winning record and if past performance is any indicator that does not bode well for them this weekend.
I just have that feeling that Clemson is going to come out and really lay the wood to NC State Saturday afternoon...

It doesn't matter who they have beaten come Sat,
We will get their best shot and if we play sloppy will lose .
But if we play even our B game should win by 10+.
Bottom line keep our D fresh and protect the ball , Tigers win easily.

As I recall Syracuse's record didn't look that great before we played them.

They're benefiting from the fact that no one knew how truly horrible FSU really is this year and how absolutely mediocre Louisville has proven to be (which, honestly, we benefited from, too). Other than that, yeah, they really have nothing.
But, as Pitt and Syracuse have shown, you don't have to have a great record to upset a better team. You just have to play a better game.
If our guys show up and play like they can and should, this should be a big win and, since the sports media is looking on NCS pretty highly at the moment, it will reflect really well on us.

Clemson is so far up in Louisville's heads, they HAD to beat the Tigers to keep their season together. They didn't..and the results are what I thought they'd be for Petrino. Bless his heart...not at all.

Do you remember how well we did after the Pitt loss last year? Fortunately for NCS Dabo is a merciful man and may not outscore them by more than 25 or 30 since we're already ranked in the top four. He may not want to play in California.

In the last 7 games in Raleigh we are 5 and 2.
Our average margin of victory is 18 points in our 5 wins. Their AMOV is 13, which is heavily skewed because of a 24 point win in 2011. In 2003 they won by 2.
