NC State game will be tougher than the FSU game

FSU already lost their mojo with second loss and NCState will look how bad they played and come in trying to prove something.
It won’t matter but this game is the toughest of the two even if we have to travel to FSU…

We have more to play for than either FSU or NC State. Clemson and Dabo are constantly getting bashed by the media (read ESPN). If NC State loses, no one cares outside Raleigh. An article about NC State losing doesn't get clicks. FSU's season is over and another loss only means a worse bowl game. Clemson has everything on the table and everything to lose, including rebuilding national credibility.

Not so sure about that. FSU game is on the road, for starters. And if I've learned one thing in my many years of following this game, I've learned one should never under-estimate FSU. Ever. Think Punt-rooskie.

lol, there was no underestimation in the punt-rooskie game. It was just a great call at a great time. If it hadn't worked for them, they would have given us the ball in field goal range for the win.

Yep. Back then games could end in a tie. Asked about the risk of an almost certain loss if the play would have failed, Bowden said he knew it might cost them the game but it was a good game and he just wanted someone to win the dadgum thing.

NCS has a chance to contextualize their loss to UT the way we have ours to UGA-turn the page, still undefeated in the conference, there is still a lot to play for. If they can recover and step up they can still be tough. They always start slow anyway.
I do wonder if FSU can recover. They are 2 losses down in the conference already with more questions now than they had before. It takes culture and cohesion to do that. Not sure they have enough.

Lots of fun options, good situational play calling, some long passes to stretch their defense.
In D, shut down the run and limit Conception (#10) and we win handily.
McCall isn't anything close to the QB he was at Coastal before his injury. He looked gun shy against both Western Carolina and UT.
