They began electronically timing guys in 1999. He’s fast but I don’t think he’s faster than Jacoby who ran a 4.27. I’d also put him in the mid 4.3s

Both of the times they mentioned in the video were “unofficial”. They came back after the commercial and said his official time for the 2nd run was some BS high 4.4 time; both of the announcers couldn’t believe it. His official score averaged out to 4.37; again total BS. Luckily GMs have eyes and could see how fast he was from his game tape.
