Maybe we should look at this in a different way.

As far as this past Saturday, I think we tried to throw the ball so much in the first half because either Dabo wanted to prove a point that DJ is the quarterback or build his confidence, maybe both.

I don't think Dabo was concerned about the outcome of the game at all. He knew we could beat them on the ground if needed.

As evidence of last year and it looks like this year also, we might as well accept the fact that we are a "running" football team. Of course, line play has to improve.

This does not mean we can't win games or even go to the playoffs. It just has to be done a different way.

We will have to play smarter, not give up many big plays, win the turnover battle, wear the other team down, etc.

We more than likely will play in a lot of close games with descent teams this year because that's just who we are right now.

I agree but we need to play 4 quarters of good football. The first 3 games, we seem to only play 2 good quarters.
