best and think he should start. Not sure why we can't start both him and Simpson at the guard positions, with Cervenka at center, Carman at LT and Anchrum/Pollard at RT.

OL will be fine in 2019, but.....

2020 is the question. The 2020 team is going to be absolutely loaded at every other position (minus maybe DT).
Lawrence (5*) in his 3rd, and final, year at the helm with Lyn-J (maybe ETN) in the backfield, throwing to Tee (probably not), Ross (5*), Ngata (5*), Kendrick (5*), and Ladson (5*). With a nice pass catching TE in Galloway.
Defense will have XT (5*), KJ Henry (5*), Pinckney, Shaq Smith (5*), Mike Jones, Crouch (5*), Booth (5*), Goodrich, McMichael, Joseph Charleston, etc.
It's going to be far and away the most talented roster we've ever seen at Clemson.
I think Dehond, Reeves, Carman, and Vinson all have the potential to be good tackles - but these guys need to be all "hits" and we have almost no room for attrition. Bockhorst in the interior will be All-ACC before he leaves. I believe Putnam would be the starting center in 2020 if we land him (and that would be huge).
But man, it could be so fun to watch was Lawrence is capable of in 2 years with the weapons he'll have if he has some time in the pocket.

I honestly think Lawrence replicates his idol Peyton Manning and stays all 4 years. Unlike many college athletes, his family seems comfortable financially and without the need for the NFL money.

Will we have another Kelly Bryant situation on our hands? Can he fend off DJ Uiagalelei? haha it's going to be fun to watch these guys.

I just don't understand why OL has been a black hole for us

Other than Simpson & Carman, I don't see an guy who can make an impact next year...if they were capable, it seems that they would have already made that move to take over a position. It sure seems to me that Hyatt was no where near what his awards represented, but that's just a blind opinion. To keep losing studs to Georgia HAS to stop now or T-Law will never get the chance to be the superstar that he is equipped to be without protection.
