It was one hellova storm in Lexington between 4:30-6:00 this morning. I'm putting new shingles my screen porch, and I barely got it waterproofed yesterday. It looks like it survived leak free.

We had high winds, a ton of rain, a lot of lightning, and lost power for a while. The worst has now past.

earlier but step son left his keys in the dressing room at the mall and didn't realize it until after the mall closed. Step daughter said " he did something stupid and you (his mom and i) have to go fix it." I'm still laughing at that.

I live off of Fish Hatchery and it wasn't all that bad around where I live, and I was watching a Tom Hanks movie, News of the World, and he done a job in that movie. My favorite Tom Hanks movie is Cast Aways, I bet I've watched that one 15 times, and I loved it each time
I did get a lot of rain, and I had to go out at around 3 am and pump some water out of the pool, but other than the rain it wasn't much wind or thunder/lightening, and I was very glad of that bc bad storms scare the absolute chit out of me especially when I have a pine tree that I've let get way to big and I keep procrastinating about having it taken down...

I don't know how you can do it, anytime the news calls for storms during the night, I do not go to bed until it has passed through, like I've already said, storms scare the absolute chit out of me. It comes from a Tornado that ripped through our yard when I was about 7 or 8, and it ripped up every tree and they were huge trees, it took 3 of my dad's hunting dogs that was never seen again, turn my dad's tractor trailer over, and it didn't damage a thing on our house. That Tornado has haunted me even today after 63 years ago!!!

and the weather caused multiple delays. That coupled with the "maintenance issues" for which American Airlines is increasingly becoming known, made for a long day (and evening) of travel.

Rain in Mt Pleasant with zero percent chance of snow today or for the remainder of the week. Rain ending in the early evening with accumulation around .00000567. Expect lightening from 4:13 till 4:30pm. Fishing will be good especially using top water or a dark worm. Flounder gigging is now illegal in the shops of Town Center. Yesterday two tornadoes touched down in two different tailor parks but caused little damage. Evacuation is not mandatory for high tide today in downtown Charleston. The Snee Farm cook out for this evening has beeb canceled. Chance of avalanche in the midlands is 63-17 percent depending on the density of the air in the stratosphere. If you find a weather balloon on your property please call your local national guard. Do not approach the balloon or contact it in anyway. Go Tigers
