My 5 years on Tigernet

In my 5 years of being a member of Tigernet I’ve learned…

• That it was not over when the “Germans bombed Pearl Harbor”
• That I should memorized every line from “Animal House,” “Old school” and about 30 other movies
• What the current status of Zimmerman’s commitment is
• Where Roscoe is now
• How all the former Clemson players are doing
• The GT game will be on TV on ESPN 3
• All your base are belong to us
• To “Fear the Pergola”
• To always search for Clemson ring tones on Tigernet first
• To “Fear Larry” and “Shyatt happens”
• Someone should always be on hand to post the link to the NCSU girls
• LBODs are great except the “red X” girl
• The voice of the Clemson Tigers will always be Jim Phillips
• A coot is not an animal and a #### is a mascot
• To always cut and paste articles from member sites
• What F.G.F. stands for
• “This is South Carolina Football”
• that O.J. will watch the Hill for us
• Where to find DVDs and covers for the old games
• How to post a picture, link, and attach files to a post
• CLEMSON GIRLS ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!!
• We should “fire Bowden” and/or Leggett if they lose a game
• To Vote for Kris!!

• It was “Brad’s Fault”
• Who’s “Colonel Angus”
• How to grow grass
• What “oink you” means
• To never post anything that has been posted before even if you haven’t seen it until now b/c everyone else has!!
• Tigernet is the best site on the web and should be everyone’s homepage
• Some coots are OK, i.e. the Coot of the year, but ALL Tigers are great
• You can’t post on F.G.F., as a Tiger fan, without getting banned…don’t even try
• That the “Rage Defense” is a Rage Against the Machine song

• Don’t post the day you sign up or you are an Asshat!!

But on an important note… there are some better things that I didn’t learn, but I was always reminded of again…

• There is no place louder or better than Death Valley
• That there is more to life than football and sports
• When you are down and admit it, other Tigers (and some coots too) will lift you up
• That if I go to another road game alone, I’ll be invited to tailgate with other Tigers
• Prayer requests will never go ignored
• And that I LOVE CLEMSON

There’s things that cannot be put into words, or posted on a message board. A pride you feel every time you see your diploma or glance down at your class ring. A feeling that you get when you see an orange and purple Clemson sunset and know what heaven on Earth is. You realize that you are part of the Clemson Family and that we together are One Clemson and Tigernet is another way of bringing us together… Thank you for 5 great years.
