I know the coots are much improved and Sellers is still a freshman. But when they come to play us in the Valley what is your score prediction and why?
I believe we will win 28-21 if we have no turnovers.
Their defense is much better and Sellers allows them to potentially win the offensive time of possession battle.
So, I think if we play a clean game we win by at least by 7pts. Of course, we need Cade to keep playing consistently.
I believe the rivalry game this year will feel much like playoffs. One, because we may be their only chance of winning 6 games. Two, because our true playoff hopes could be on the line.
I would like to think that our defense is still elite and the offense can still get better! Go Tigers!

I have no score prediction because it is 2 months away. Who know which players are available then? It would be about as meaningful as these preseason rankings

I want to see us play more first. But our defense >> than their defense. I believe we can make them one dimensional and shut their offense down. If we don’t turn the ball over or try some stupid return plays, at the moment I think we can win by 2 TD’s. Playing in the Valley will help tremendously.
Our playoff hopes will not ride on this game. Win the ACC, we’re in. Otherwise we are not.

I just joined Tigernet so yes it is my first post. But I thought that game could hinder our playoff birth and that me nervous.
I know we could and should beat them. I just can see that with Sellars they’re able to run the ball and stay on the field.
I’m unbiased enough to admit we don’t look in like a championship team right now. But hopefully that changes!

I asked about that game because a lot of Gamecocks around me have been running their mouth.
I actually believe they will be the toughest team left on our schedule if we keep playing up to our potential.
But I was also thinking that losing to the Coots could jeopardize our playoff hopes. I’m glad to hear that’s not the case!

Which "we" are you speaking of? Play to our potential? Either way I believe you are speaking of UofSC. Now if you mentioned something about us playing down to their potential it makes more sense.

To be honest I don't think of playing the Yardbirds Until about 3 weeks before the game. But I believe that if Cade continues to improve Like he has been doing It doesn't matter how good they're looking on defense. They will be Very tired by the 4th quarter ...we will be beat them 45-21!!! I really do think they're pass defense Is suspect and our improved Offensive line Will blow them off the ball in the second half. But like some of the others It's too far away because anybody can get injured right now And change the identity of the outcome

Keep a spy on Sellars and that will shut their offense down. LSU, who is not a powerhouse, scored 36. The coots won't play that well again all season.
