It looks like the rumors could be true. Two publishers on Rivals have him going to OU and another who picked him as a CU just flipped to OU.

That seems to be how Dabo rolls. The proposed commit tells him they intend to commit elsewhere, then he immediately throws out another offer. I guess it's good that the recruit isn't leaving him hanging.

If winds up to be true he may have folks in his ear to make money now mindset instead of Hoping to make it big in college and injury free. NCAA Football may need to be called MFL ( Mercenary Football League ).

So much gnashing of teeth if we miss a guy, especially if it's clear they'd rather chase NIL $ instead of degree/development. Yes it sucks, but rather focus the energy on a kid that knows 100% that Clemson is where he wants to call home for next 3-5 years.

Like as a WR, well we all unfortunately know that hasn’t happened with anyone at WR under Grisham! 😩
He’s apparently chosen a different path, which is unfortunate, but let’s not list how he’ll miss out on his development by going to OU. And if you mean personal development, then I’m sure BV is more than capable of molding him into something too.

Curious about why so many posters on tnet immediately say a prospect is chasing money and implications are said recruit was not the character recruit for Clemson. But if that's the case, you're basically saying Dabo and staff haven't a clue how to judge character since we offered the kid. Dabo has always said we do above and beyond due diligence on a recruits character and fit for Clemson before we even make an offer.
We miss on most of our offers. 🤔

they’re the same people who say we didn’t want him anyway when he commits to a different school, total hypocrisy. Honestly, it’s a sad state of where things are right now in college sports, if it was me, as a kid now, with no guarantee of NFL pastures and this crap economy, I’d be looking out for myself too and trying to maximize my worth. If any of you out there would take a $100,000 job at Clemson over a million dollar job at another school, you’re just lying to yourself. It’s unfortunate, but that’s where things stand right now!
