Friday night, stayed in, tested one of our kegs for Saturday, realized it has some serious issues and fixing them took up most of the night.
Saturday, up at 5 to load up the car and head to Lincolnton am to be there by 8:30 for the home brew fest. I missed the whole home brew fest because I also had a birthday party to go to for my nephew. Nobody in our club won anything this year.
Sunday, up early again because we were supposed to be on the road to Columbia for a birthday/retirement party by 10. I think we left at like 11:30.

Friday did a program for 5 different 3rd grade classes. Great kids but man, I was exhausted. Rewarded myself with a smoked ribeye for supper
Saturday off to Clover to judge a BBQ competition. Only 9 teams and one table of judges so a lot of bbq was consumed.
Sunday they had prime rib on the buffet, I may have gone back 3 times
After losing 15 pounds since February, Sunday evening I fell off the wagon and loaded up the house with ice cream, potato chips, dean’s French onion dip, chocolate and proceeded to go on a binge
Very feeling very guilty morning and now I have a house full of temptation

I can’t stand Blue Cheese
If the calendar works for you next year you should judge Clover. Nice little contest, didn’t have a bad box. It’s almost like an invitational because other than a couple of local teams, it’s usually just guys at the top of the points there.

We have a habit of coming to PI late April probably because I used to be real busy prior to April 15th. LOL. And it is spring cleaning time!

Friday night was nephews birthday party. Son of got a nail stuck in his foot. Otherwise that went well. Burgers and chips were had by all.
Saturday was soccer game for youngest, and doctor appointment for middle son with the nail-hole in his foot. Then replaced the broken tire swing on the swing set and finished the last few LED lights in the crawlspace. 6 loads of laundry were done over the weekend, so that's caught up.
Sunday middle son with the nail-hole sang in church. Put a Boston butt on the Traeger at 4am. Was marvelous by 5:30pm, so we had BBQ sammiches for supper last night. Have plenty left over for mom and in-laws.
Oldest son spent the weekend up at his great-uncle's hunting place. He plowed their garden for them with the tractor, shot 1/3lb of Tannerite with uncleinlaw's rifle, and repaired some tree stands on the property.
Overall 8.6/10 (Pretty Good)

Went to Paris Mountain Sattidy for a hike and a pick nick. Came home and made Drago's oysters and boilrd a 2.5lb lobster.
Sunday just chilled since Ms. Wilbur went to a visitation for a baby of a fellow teacher that passed. Watched the Messico PGA tourney.
8/10 (15.2/19 on the RH Covids scale) for no real reason.
Mebbe could dew a gin.

Friday...worked from home due to being up all night with some stomach crap. Ate lunch at Maki. Ordered pizza and watched 2nd round of draft and NBA playoff game with son-of (son-of adopted Celtics as his team).
Saturday...coffee and pastries at Bradberry Bistro, then hit the Soiree in downtown Anderson. Have to say, I was pretty impressed. Really good turn-out, had a couple of good beers, fair bit of food selection, a lot of vendors and 3 stages set-up. Heard a bit of music prior to leaving mid-day. Got talked into buying a large framed picture for our den. Made a big grocery run. Made burgers and taters on the griddle for fam and spend-the-night friend of daughters.
Sunday...had plan for breakfast extravaganza on griddle, but got rained out. Did inside one instead and was pretty good. Home fries, cheese grits, bacon, eggs Florentine. Piddled around house and then got a good bit of work work done in the afternoon. Helped son-of fill out an application to work at our pool this summer, which should be interesting. Greek chicken thighs, rice, and roasted veggies for dinner. Watched movie Tag with wife-of.

Friday, Mrs. Tig was working an event on the island so I made some pork tacos in the crock pot so they would be ready when she got home. Went to visit RH Mom, came home and watched AEW since it was on early. When Mrs. got in around 8:30, we ate and I sat up and watched the full Woodstock director's cut on TCM until midnight. I hadn't seen that version with extra 45 minutes before...well worth it if you haven't either.
Saturday chores in the morning, errands early afternoon, then visit to RH Mom. Late afternoon the Mrs. and I rode up to the Super G Mart in Pineville. Super G is one of the most amazing international grocery stores you've ever seen, and we spent about two and a half hours looking at what they had. Their produce is phenomenal and I doubt there is any grocery store in North or South Carolina that has what they have. Only spent around $60 but came home with some great stuff to cook this week. Got home and fixed a quick supper, then rode downtown Rock Hill to watch Charlotte band LA Maybe do a free show outside on the patio at Player 1 Up. Got our hair metal fix and made it back home just after 10:00.
Sunday, early morning hike with the pup along Lake Wylie, which is well beyond capacity and flooding into places I haven't seen wet since last spring. Made a regular grocery run to restock the staples, then over to visit RH Mom. RH Aunt dropped by to visit on her way back from Charleston weekend. Back home to grab Mrs. Tig and then off to the Thirsty Beaver to see Charlotte legend Lenny Federal play. Anyone familiar with the area probably knows who Lenny and his family are... the Federals basically helped Nick Karras change the Double Door Inn from a restaurant to the legendary blues club it became. Also had a nice surprise when RH Sis showed up with her entourage to celebrate her birthday weekend and had 3timeTiger in tow. Had an absolute blast catching up with her, the band was great, and the Bevaer is ALWAYS a great time.
19/19 Covids weekend. Will do again ASAP.

Played in two disc golf tournaments, first one shot below my rating, second above my rating to average it out, missed some putts I shouldn't have, but enjoyed the time.
Smoked stogies and hung out in Charlotte with the uncle.
Good weekend, now need to build up the family time again.

the people that ran the marketplace I'd been busting ### for can go DIAF.
We set up at Live Oak Brewing for a beer release, and they had the market/vendors set up on the opposite side of the place from the food trucks and tap room, and no signs in the taproom or anything letting people know there was a market. I was out for 7 hours, and in that time, I had 20 people stop by (I kept count to track for feedback and conversion rates) and only sold one charcuterie board on the day.
Anyhow, if anybody is looking for a nice epoxy inlaid brisket board, check out https://shop.3grackles.com as I put a few of them up.

Something similar happened at the home brew festival. All the beer was on one street and the vendors on another. Yes, one could simply walk through the host tap room to get to each, but once you got to all the beer there was no reason to go back to the other street.

I have another Marker's market at the end of July, and really, I just wanted this for advertising purposes, but the foot traffic wasn't there to make it any sort of worth while. I'm probably gonna laser engrave a few of these boards and send them to interior designers and realtors around town to build up some relationships.

Friday afternoon Son-Of came home to have dinner with us and celebrate his 20th birthday. Made our traditional trip to Dillard's in Greer for ice cream and picked up some berries at the peach stand. Saffron take-out for dinner was excellent as always.
Saturday did lots of yardwork. Then cocktails on the patio and charcuterie board for dinner. Watched some hoops and hockey and crashed out.
Sunday went to brunch with Wife-of at Camp. Afterwards when thunderstorms didn't materialize as forecast did a little more yardwork and spent some time holding down a chair on the patio. Nice long walk at CNP in the evening and then back home - back in the salt mine for a few hours work to prep for this week. Bed at 2am, now back at it but dragging.
Would repeat.

Friday - nothing. Tried to watch a new show with the missus (Keri Russell's Diplomat show), fell asleep on the sofa.
Saturday - was in prime dad mode. Started by taking littlest APM to Kohl's to get some glad rags for the middle school dance. Mission accomplished. Then we went to karate - good workout. Then back home and I got about two hours of work in until it was time for lilAPMette's PROM NUMBER TWO on the year (the bf's prom), so pics on the deck, then seeing her off with the bf. Then the missus and I split duties. She went for the formal prom pics while I took littlest APM to the middle school dance (lawd, them kids was into it0> Anyhow, we get back home, have a nice dinner (salmon, sauteed kale, bread, cheese, olives, pinot grigio) and the APM goes out on the deck to enjoy his Cuban cigar, which he lived blogged here in le Lunge. The Mrs. picked up littlest APM from the dance. Bed, didn't even wake up when lilAPMette came in at 0200.
Sunday - watched F1, church, watch futbol, did some reading, went to our church small group, back home, early to bed.

Actually I watched some other people work on Friday night for a bit, finished up a week long project on my boat trailer bearings and hubs, drank a few beers, and went to bed.
Went out in the boat early Saturday, getting it ready for the season. I have two gel coat voids that popped up over the winter I need to fix, but everything else seems to be working as it should.
Bought a golf cart from my old neighbors. It had some stuff rusted out and some bent up pieces, but overall, in decent shape. I'll have $600 in parts when I'm done with it, and only gave them $2500 for it, so I might flip it if it looks like I won't use it much. But we drove it around the hood last night with the dog so that was kinda cool.
Ended up at the Dinge-ee on IOP Saturday night and it was ridiculously crowded, even thought there was a thunderstorm. Saw one of the Southern Charm chicks there, and I gotta say that no matter what b!tchy character she plays on TV, she is even more attractive in person, and shorter than I thought.
Messed with the golf cart yesterday and order the parts i need for it last night. And here i am not working..again.
Not a bad weekend I guess.
