Saban's advice to Auburn: Stop Deshaun Watson
Auburn and Alabama may be rivals in every sense of the word, but as the Tigers from the Plains prepare for the season opener against Clemson, Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn may turn to Nick Saban for a little advice. If he does, Saban will have three words for him.

Just now back on line and seeing this. Allen also praised the Clemson team and Watson in particular. Clemson played fine, especially on the left side of the D line. The difference was in coaching. Saban and staff have been there before and that's a huge advantage.

Saban didn't do a great job of stopping Watson, himself. Best I remember DW put up computer game type stats. Our Special Teams play cost us that natty. Hopefully we get that fixed this year and from now on.

Derp.....teams have been trying to figure that out for the past 2 years. The only team that had any success (albeit limited) doing that was Louisville. We rag-dolled 'Bama for over 550 yards......can't wait to see what we do vs. Steele and Allbarn.

So, post YOUR photo instead of a tiger paw. Saban's looks must certainly indicate a character flaw. Very Trump-esque observation.
Read about the reason for his choice of discipline; it makes sense. Cam's back up is a 5-star, so no real drop off.
Go back and take a look at your team's history of handling player mistakes...

What Allen didn't say when making his excuses why it was only a 5 point seperation at the end of the game. He didn't say that DW4 and Clemson's offense as a whole, did in fact keep them off balanced and guessing if DW4 was keeping the ball, or which one of our very talented receivers he was giving the ball to. That is in fact why,"as he says", didn't play very well on defense in the biggest game of their entire season. Bama may have had the #1 defense in the country, but Clemson's offense put up over 500 yards on that #1 defense. In fact, Clemson's offensive and defensive stats were better than Bama's in the entire game. Bama players and fans should continue to kiss Saban's A$S, bc one miracle trick play stole the game and another NCG for them.

Alabama won the game fair and square. They made big plays in the second half, especially in the fourth quarter. Kudos to them. However, if I were Saban, I might wonder why his teams have given up 40 or more points to three non-conference teams the last three post-seasons- Oklahoma, Ohio State and Clemson. Perhaps, the opposing SEC offenses just aren't as good as the talking heads at ESECPN would have us believe. And maybe Alabama's defense, as good as it is, is not quite as good as advertised.
