The way FSU has presented themselves over the last 6 months is shameful. They are looking for the poor poor me defense while they have brought much of this on themselves. The way they've handled getting out of the ACC is childlike, and then they sold their soul to the devil just so they could have one decent football team. (And look where that got them). It makes their whole school look desperate, and it reflects badly on the rest of the conference. In my opinion the sooner FSU is out of the ACC the better. I'm tired of making excuses for all of their bad choices.

Another dumb post. FSU was 13-0 and the ACC Champions so how is that an embarrassment? If you cannot accept that in today's world that players have choices on playing or not, just find another sport to watch.

Did you even read what he posted? I don’t agree that they should be out of the ACC, but everything else he said is spot on. If some of y’all would leave Tigernet once in a while you would see fans from rest of the country has been making fun of them since February.

You apparently don't follow college football. Pig is exactly right. FSU, right now is an embarrassment, or really more of a sad situation. I don't know whether they are the culprit or the victim of a college football universe that has gone way off course.

I still don’t fully get the “look where that got them..they are actually a bad team” takes. They went undefeated and won their conference for the first time in almost a decade. That is objectively a good season no matter how it ended.

Clearly they had a great regular season. Unfortunately for them this record-breaking Orange Bowl loss is also be hung around their neck and something people are going to remember.

It’s within the rules (I guess) but shouldn’t be. Not a fan of overhauling your team in one year to win your conference. Glad they got smacked.

I think what you also mean is the NCAA is making an embarrassing fool out of schools who want to lean in to its new rules. Norvell is slime, and his culture obviously breeds me-first thinking, but he’s quite legally playing by the most current set of the rules.
The rules have broken the game, not just FSU’s way of using them.

In some ways a team can be compared to an army. Is it better to have an army with mercenaries or an army with a seasoned trained unit? Sometimes when you win the battle doesn’t mean you will win the war. Until the NIL can be managed correctly then chaos will remain.

Every championship level team is going to use NIL and the portal to fill holes and strengthen their team.
We should be thanking FSU. Their attacks at the ACC and ESPN have validity and they are footing the legal bills and blazing the trail and model that Clemson will be using to exit the ACC as well. If anything, Clemson, UNC and others with an escape option should be thanking FSU.

they used the NIL and portal to improve their roster with impact players to their team.
the opt outs will only get worse across the country unless you're a part of the 12 team playoff.

The game was more an embarrassment to ESPN, intended or not. ESPN (Disney) has put the ACC in the position
it is in today and is unlikely to change its stance.
I would like to learn the drop off of viewers by the end of the first quarter. It certainly greatly dropped
to the dismay of sponsors and payback for the playoff snub. Yes the ACC and this years champ looked bad, but
I might guess the snub may have contributed to the result.

It's all someone else at fault...that is the new generation mentality...I chose a crappy school, a worthless major, partied, spent lots of money, got a worthless job in HR and now can't payback my student loan...the government (everyone else) needs to take away my debt and set me free!
