... the call at the plate when Chris Williams took that throw from Krall that should have forced out number two of the inning, but instead allowed a run to score.
The next batter hit a long fly ball out that *would have been* out number three, but instead it scored another run.
The inning should have ended up 3-0 Clemson but instead it ended 3-2.
And as we know, those two runs were the diference in the game which ended up a one-run loss.

Thinking the same thing. Jolly hit a home run pitch hitting and Wharton got on base and advanced the runner. He needs to blame the third base coach running us out of the inning.

Man some of you turn on a coach on a coach and will throw him/her under the bus at the drop of a hat. Clemson is going to win 30 plus possibly 40 games this season and some of you are still find something tocomplain about.
It's not unusual for the entire team to go through a mini slump because you play a lot of baseball each season. It difficult to maintain that confidence and mental focus every game. Some games it does not matter what you try it just does not work. That's why you look at the entire season to judge a teams success.
