but you've gone against everyone who claims this program hasn't been in a decline since 2021.

So, I challenge you to do this. You're obsessed with wins/losses..........and that's fine. However, you don't look in the details, you don't see "the game within the game" that vividly illustrates our program's decline.........I'll keep it simple for you......so let's do this.

Please chart me (in crayon if you insist) the 4-year SMA (for you that's "simple moving average") for win% of Clemson from 2018-present. If you see then that our program has gradually declined since 2018 (or since 2021 for that matter) each year, then agree and move on.

If not........then don't say I didn't warn you.......now's your chance to save face. I appreciate your passion, but don't let your passion blind you from reality.

I recently did a post on the past 5 years related to wins that showed it was our second most productive string of consecutive 5 years in our history (50 wins).

The most productive time were the 5 years that preceeded those years, our championship years, (69 wins). We shouldn't act like the last 5 years weren't still productive years, but they definitely show a decline from the five years that preceeded them.

On one hand I agree the decline as far as the final w/l numbers don't show that much of a steady decline. On the other '21-'23 a good defense managed to mask a lot of offensive issues. Last year the offense (for the most part) appeared to get things figured out while the defense showed serious flaws in a number of areas. Here we are in '25 and it's a complete dumpster fire. Maybe "steady decline" is an oversimplification but it certainly has been a decline.
