I know that there seems to be no real consensus on if/when he is returning this season, does anyone think he will take to the field before the end of the season? Obviously his health and getting back to being 100% is most important.
I think we are really missing that "go to" receiver, particularly on the deep balls which he seemed to provide prior to his injury. We really could use some effective passes in the 15-35 yard range, which would open things up a bit.

Agree 100%. He is key if we are going to fix the passing game. Need a big, tall guy who can go up. I keep hoping Dabo is over-selling it and the next thing we know we will see No. 7 out there.
Realistically, though, I would guess he can't come back until 6 weeks after injury. Then he has to probably practice a week to get back into the flow. FSU maybe??

Peake is done....What you saw out of him last night is what his role has been reduced to in a nut shell. Hung his QB out to dry on that interception in the end zone and just doesn't have the balls skills.

Plus our second TD drive at Louisville, the WRs on the field for that drive were Scott, Renfrow, Cain, and McCloud. Peake never saw the field that drive. That speaks volumes about him and his place with the coaches. He is a body catcher and never fights for the ball.

late in the year and he is 100% cleared to safely play again, i think the staff would put him on the field.

Great job Tigers on the game last night in tough conditions! We started getting a little too conservative at the end (started 3rd quarter)(play calling) leading to ND offense gaining momentum.Came out of the gate, punched them in the mouth a few times, and downshifted. Our receiving core needs some height. Charone is the tallest receiver we have.The receivers we have, with talent to burn,don't have the long rangy builds needed last night. Excellent job again by BV's D!Can't wait for the Georgia Tech game.

Last night was the very first i heard he is out for the season. Sure when he is ready he will play. Safety and health first. But hadn't heard that one yet

I think Hunter Renfrow is going to be a weapon in coming weeks.
Talk last night sounded like Williams is probably out for the season.
