Most of you need to take a step back from the ledge, pour you a cold beer or a nice glass of bourbon, and realize that we're still ok. Are we where we want to be after the late 2010's. No, not right now. But I think we can get there.
I say that to say: we could be in the shoes of a team who just lost to East Carolina or UCONN... BTW, we're not.
We just won the league, and made the playoffs. If Dabo makes the right staff changes, no reason we shouldn't be ACC champs for the foreseeable future.
Enjoy the ride. We're still in the golden age of Clemson football. 9 ACC titles in the last 14 years. 2 Natties, played for 4. Seriously, enjoy it folks. Most of us will never see this again.

Agree...but being cheerful about our future is both boring and maybe a little misleading.
The ACC is hot garbage as a whole. Winning 10 games/ACC title means nothing if we poop the bed on the national stage. Keep up this bowl performance and the next push will be to rid the playoff of AUTO bids for champs not from Big10/SEC.
Our roster management and recruiting is not good. We under recruited at the HS level and have failed to backfill at the portal level. This new era of roster management is definitely a difficult task, but we aren't making it easy on ourselves.
Lastly, Clemson's biggest question mark is coaching. This in my opinion is the biggest down turn we have faced. Hopefully we hire a talented outside hire at DC. The friends and family approach has led to complacency.

I do not believe that anything changes in 2025 CFP. Maybe in 2026 with a new contract. So when we win the ACC next year we get the bye .

There is always a poster to say, be thankful for the past and the present isn’t so bad.
Then another who talks about why we aren’t where we are where and what needs to be done to get back there.
What I like most is how there is no childish name calling on this thread.
I think there is a place for both types of posters.

1965, to me it wasn’t the 3 points. It was the way coot QB ran all over our defense. Yes, he’s a good runner but every knew or should have known that stopping him would stop their offense. I’m not a coach and I knew that. It was game management that ticked me off.

It wasn't just the coot QB that ran all over us. Citadel had more rushing yds than SC.
If we had been able to cut the rushing yds in half this year, it could have been very good.
