Middlebrooks for Godfrey

Earlier post said Middlebrooks for Clark trade, which I think we got the best deal on that trade.
But the real question is Middlebrooks or Godfrey.
I think the upside on Godfrey is much greater than Middlebrooks. He could probably see that himself and that’s why he bolted for Nancy State.
I just hope we can keep Godfrey for 2-3 more years.

We got Clark for one year NancyState got Middlebrooks for 3 years. No way to tell how this trade will play out until Middlebrooks graduates.

Clark and Godfrey probably would have been on the team even if Middlebrooks stayed. Leyte filled Middlebrooks spot and we weren't better for it.

He would have helped us, especially as much foul trouble as we had this year. I like his hussle and he may not be the most athletic but he seems to leverage what he has pretty well. He certainly has been a good role player for NCS this year.

He transffered due to being behind PJ. I thought he was seeking more minutes and maybe a starter role. Would like to see his minutes/game at Clemson and his minutes/game this year at State. He would have definitely helped us this year spelling PJ.

At times, he played better than PJ I thought. IF PJ comes back, then Godfrey might bolt. But then again, the probability PJ returns is small ... but you never know ...
