Mickey talking about team givin up

Both this season and last season. Brownell calls in to address. Thoughts?

Part of me likes the passion on brownells side, part makes me think that by addressing this head on lends credence to the idea that the team has given up.

Loved the call in by Coach, I felt he was composed and to the point. Mickey was doing a little back pedaling... the guard play was terrible last evening. Four times Clemson had a chance to go ahead and the guards either threw the ball to a mystery man or jumped in the air and had no one to throw to.... not the coaches fault there. I have said before, Coach Brownell is on the right path and this team will be very good.

Lol, yea I noticed that too. He didn't completely change his statement, but he sure took some of the venom out.

Mickey handled it well, though, as usual, he gets caught up in petty issues and statistics. Whether we played in the CBI doesn't have much to do with anything.

I prefer that the real issue be addressed from last night's game: players competing on every play, every possession. We did not do this, and I can cite numerous examples of this. Does the coach address these things? Apparenlty not, from what I can tell.
