Why, because I think he was a terrible announcer? I haven't listened to a game on radio since the first time I heard him do a game. He was awful.

that "many" didn't like him. I personally know two and can honestly say, they don't like anybody doing that kind of work. None. I have read posts by about a dozen people who didn't like him but I suspect they are a severe minority.
Will Merritt is and always has been a class act who knows the game. He has always given me more than I anticipated and never angered or irritated me. This is a danged shame!

No more radio for me when watching the games. Have to suffer through the idiots on TV. He may not have been the best, but he loves CU and didn't talk be about the stadium, players, coaches, etc. Don can't replace Pete and Will can't be either. MY opinion!

Personally, I wish they'd allow Bourett to do the games again, but they won't with his football duties. Brenston Buckner would do a good job but he's to opinonated. Maybe they let James Trapp do it

Don Munson. He is not well liked by alot of the staff and players. Munson runs things his way and Merritt wasn't willing to change. Many inside the program are baffled as to why Dabo has kept Munson around this long as he adds nothing to our program. It's a shame to force Pete and now Will out.

Enjoyed Mike Eppley and Rodney Williams back when they were part of the broadcast crew, too.
Not sure what's going on with with the broadcast shuffle, but it was very clear where these guys stood with their loyalty. Solid Orange...and I liked it that way.
