Christmas brief reflection

Watching my children open presents and filled with excitement and joy, well wishes and texts from friends, healthy family for the most part, and knowing the love of God, I am truly blessed and my cup overflows.

Plus I am a Tiger fan, and not just any Tiger, but a Clemson Tiger fan. The best team and the greatest fans. I hope all of you are filled with blessings and joy

I really miss my kids being that age when Santa was so much more special than he is today. Plus it was great getting together with some much family. I miss the chaos of shopping and going out to look at Christmas lights.

To me the presents never mattered it was like OP said the joy of watching your kids open gifts, waking up to see what Santa brought. The joy of why we celebrate Christmas the Birth of baby Jesus.
