I can appreciate the home rates not dropping quickly. Cost of loaning money, etc. is still high. That said, per the bank that handles my high yield savings account, my rate is being adjusted down because of the FED rate cut. Why is the high yield savings rate not holding. I figure if they are competing for capital, that rate would stay constant if the home mortgage rates are increasing.
