There's a very tiny smidgeon of a smidgeon who actually want that, seriously. The issue was more about trying not to exclude people whose physiology landed on the spectrum edges when God was dealing out chromosomes from pursuing athletic competition.
I would say there's probably 98% agreement among Americans that boys that trans over to girls should not compete in school-related competition with the girls, but girls who trans to boys - why not and who cares. It's extremely rare for it to be such a talked about thing.
