Nashville getting new 2 billion dollar domed stadium. ACC

Apr 27, 2023, 7:57 PM

needs to go ahead grab Memphis to expand the footprint to Tennessee then get dibs on the new dome for the ACCCG before the SEC or Big 12 moves in. Wonder if Charlotte ever approves a dome?

By the time that

stadium is built the ACC will be nothing more than the AAC anyway, so it makes sense to me! Screw Swofford!!!

It doesn’t benefit the ACC to move the conference championship game to Nashville.***

You are probably right. The ACC wants to continue to look junior league like the AAC playing in an outdoor stadium while the SEC and Big 12 play in a grand dome in December. I suspect at some point the SEC moves a few of their championship games in upcoming years to Jerry World while the Big 12 gets the Atlanta dome or Nashville in those years.

This kind of thinking is why the ACC is far behind

The Big Ten and SEC. While we are adding Memphis and Cincinnati, they are adding Oklahoma and USC.

ACC is dead …. Just a matter of time

ACC is done. It’s time to focus on where we go next.

Hopefully (IMO) it’s to the SEC!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Clemson is going to the SEC. No need to entertain any other scenarios.***

Memphis is pretty far below the academic standards

of the rest of the ACC.

The counter argument is that they could join Louisville in the "outliers" category, but Louisville was much more of a football and basketball power when they joined.

Is this satire?
